Moose Tracks ( not the ice cream flavor)

Haven’t felt well due to a sinus infection but the antibiotics I’ve received I’m finally recovering after 4 weeks.

So I was unusually grateful to get out on my snowshoes and ended up trying to track down moose, the ones that I posted pics of last Fall. I only see tracks but never a moose in winter. So I followed the the as far as was safe on my snowshoes.

Thank the Lord for His beautiful creations, the new CLL treatment without which I’d not have survived nor been able to get out yet again to bask in it all again

So understand where you are coming from. Sinus infections have recurred frequently for me and so many courses antibiotics I have lost count and they make you feel sooo ill BUT I am very jealous. I want to put on my snow shoes and track moose (whether or not we find them). Its sounds just wonderful. Love that picture. Thank you for posting. I shall dream on.

How awesome is that - to see the prints of wild life in the snow where innocence still remains for them and there's no hustle and bustle of cars, cities, etc - only the silence of peace and the love of God's beauty

A fully grown male moose is an aggressive beast. So much so that even bears give it a wide berth. Are you not afraid to track it? I can't imagine you running away from it in snowshoes 😄

I have come upon many a bull moose in summer and just stood completely still til they left and if they didn’t

I quietly walked back down the trail

I honestly didn’t think I’d find the moose as I’ve seen lots of tracks but never a moose in winter

😜
