Hi Perrie,

Given this is your first post to our community, I gather you are concerned that this lump might be a lymphoma? Be reassured that there are many more likely causes than lymphoma. While this community provides support for the most common adult lymphoma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma, (CLL/SLL), this disease is rare enough to be designated an orphan disease to encourage research. The Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma expression, where you don't see a high lymphocyte blood count, is quite rare, with only a few percent of our members having SLL. If your consultant suspects you have lymphoma, it's diagnosed by a flow cytometry test on a biopsy of the lump.

Let us know what is found - if you do have SLL, you've found a very helpful and supportive community. Meanwhile, don't search Google for a self diagnosis - you'll find it is very easy to get misled and end up fearing the worst outcome.

That is unfortunately a long list of ailments you have to live with. Do you think you may have CLL too? Try not to jump to conclusions. Internal hemorrhoids in flare up could cause symptoms like the ones you mention too. I see in your profile that you are interested in healthy everything. May I ask whether you are on some kind of a specific diet? Hang in there and best of luck!

Cannot really eat anything mainly fruit and pick at things have ensure drinks daily but think they making me feel sick now

So many more problems since hip replacement

Mainly fruit is not a good thing at all. You are probably suffering from nutrient deficiencies. If you cannot eat much at all then what you eat should be meat and eggs in my opinion. Those are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. A little fruit in addition to a nutrient dense diet does not do much harm but it cannot be the sole thing one eats.

Just read your bio----living with so much pain for so long sounds desperate! Pain is so debilitating. And exhausting.

I too am under the National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore and it was they who found my CLL, when infection from a hip operation was dropping but my lymphocytes were going up. They then referred me to my local haematologist for tests. They are excellent. So sorry to hear that surgery on hold again because of heart and pancreas problems again.

Has anyone tested you for CLL yet?

You are dealing with such complex medical problems. I do hope that you have support with managing all this---family, friends or professional. Eleanor

Had hip replacement 4 Oct so many more problems since still using a walker still on morphine having Colonoscopy 13 Feb they found lump in anus feels like I am stying on a golfball not piles

I was never allowed friends by my late husband my only son passed away last year just me daughter and 2 grandchildren but they all have there own health problems daughter has fibromyalgia one girl heart problems other one IBS and Crones so have to just manage as best I can now gp put me on. Mirtazepam anti depressantdont know what to do anymore
