Just wondering if there any UK CLLers that have started a clinical trial involving Epcoritamab and if so, how are they getting on with it?

Hello Nicebaps:

I assume you have seen Dr. Koffman’s blog on his current treatment with Epcoritamab but in the off chance you haven’t I’ve provided the link below.

I am in touch with Brian but was wondering if anyone in the UK was on it or about to start it?

Hi Nicebaps,

As HopeME mentions, one of our best known friends & advocate bkoffman is in a trial for Epcoritamab and you can see a list of the 8 other postings that mention it here:

Len,

Isn’t epcoritamab FDA approved for RR CLL?

I think it's just DLBCL and Follicular so far.

But once approved for anything, it can be legally prescribed off label. The only catch is whether insurance will cover. It's had some good results in CLL in a small study:

But much depends on comorbidities, which cannmake AEs more severe.

I think I would try Pirtobrutinib first. The whole sequencing of 2nd line and beyond changes as new results are released.

Seymour,

Thanks. Just trying to stay a step ahead as I move along successfully in the BRUIN trial on V+R arm. Missed getting assigned to arm with pirto. But seems all for the best given the good I am getting from veneto and still having pirto waiting in the wings. Happy New Year.

Trial has a long waiting list in the USA. Don't personally know any UK patients.

Is epcoritamab a time limited or continuous treatment?

My trial is for for 5 years, so continuous but other similar BITEs are time limited and there are other trials looking time limited therapy combinations with epco or using it as a consolidatio0n therapy short term after other medications. It's approved as a continuous therapy for Lafarge B cell lymphoma in the USA. It's all very new in CLL.
