Got home at around 20:30 after first cycle of Rituximab. Had a poor night's sleep on the ward as usual, so hoping to sleep well tonight. No major dramas during the infusion. Bit of a headache and feel like I'm on fire but generally OK. Next cycle is Tuesday next week so one down three to go. Love and strength to all.

Home again.
I must be one of those strange beings that sleeps well in hospital, perhaps it’s the 💊 and lack of 🐈🐈 in the middle of the night. Gets some rest.

Thanks Colette. It's the constant awakening for obs plus other patients and its not my bed. Will see how I am tomorrow.
I can sleep anywhere at home, but not on strange beds - hotels or hospitals! It sounds like you are off to a good start though!!
Thanks, yes there's no bed like your own. I hope the next three go as smoothly.
I could never sleep in hospital, there’s nothing like your own bed. Good luck with next treatment.

My sympathy, I never had a decent night's sleep in hospital, too much commotion in the corridor. Have you tried earbuds and white noise on a phone app? It gave me some respite.
Hi Jack. That is amazing to hear. Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know. Sorry I didn’t reply last night, I was already in bed and asleep!! Hope you got some sleep too. Don’t forget your lovely neighbours if you need anything.
How wonderful to be home tucked back in your own bed with familiar surroundings 😊 A good nights sleep is certainly in order. Thank you for sharing your journey. Wishing you all the best.
Weirdly I rather like things going on so lights and background noise din’t affect me too much, Nice to be home I bet.

Beat wishes, Jack. Everything is better once you’re home in your own place.
Hi Jack,Hope you were able to get a good night's sleep.
It is lovely to see you posting again. I hope things are better for you. ❤️
