Technical problem with posting

I tried to create a post but it was thrown out and I was told to refresh. Couldn't work out how. If anyone knows, maybe it would help others too. I will try to create the post again. Surely not a maximum number of words?

Thanks for thinking of posting about your bad luck in the hopes it will help others. You've posted without difficulty now, so whatever the problem was earlier, it's now absent. It's good practice to write your post in a text/word editor app, then copy and paste the text, particularly for longer posts.

The process of posting is quite complex and it can most commonly fail when there's a network connection interruption. There's a higher risk of this happening when you are on a Wi-Fi rather than a wired connection, perhaps due to interference. You may have seen a warning in a red banner appear. That warning message can provide a clue to the cause of failure.

I'm just following up to check if you've had any further problems. Also were you trying to post, as you did here, or were you trying to send a member a message/chat via? Finally, how are you accessing this site? Is it via Safari (Apple) or on an Android phone or Windows computer/laptop?

No further problems thanks. I did wonder whether creating new paragraph caused it. It was just a post and the phone is an old Samsung Android smartphone.
