my eyes are tearing so much people think lm crying. And my left eye is very bloodshot and a bit painful. I searched net about this but it just confused me will start OandV treatment in two weeks. Has anyone had a similar symptom. Will the treatment take care of it or should I be worried. Thanks everyone

WYou might need antibiotic eye drops, try to see your GP. I think it sounds like conjunctivitis but I'm not a doctor. I had a lot of it before I started treatment as my Ig levels were low, I think it's the IgA in particular, that the immunologist mentioned to me, that was contributing to me having regular eye infections. Hope you get some relief soon.

Try to see an Opthamologist because it could be either blocked tear ducts or dry eyes. I thought it strange that it’s called dry eye when they water. There are a range of products that help. I also had couple of burst blood vessels in my eye recently and I stopped Ibrutinib for a week and was given a different gel to use.

Sadly I have been working my way through eye problems ! An ingrowing eyelash was another recent problem.

Good eye gel I use Hylotear and a cleanser for blepharitis and a heated eye pad all help me.

I had very red eye a few months ago. Looked rather bad, and I had a feeling of grit in my eye. I was told not serious. It was a Subconjunctival Haemorrhage. It went after a few days I agree with the other responders that you should seek medical advice.

I have this problem, it is very bad at present. I have tried everything recommended - here in UK you get medical treatment for minor eye problems from an optician not a doctor. However, I now know that this is actually sensitivity to tree pollen. I now just bathe them with boiled and cooled down water with a little bit of salt in it. It works for me, and it might for you. Here in UK there is a serious resistance from medical/optical profession for prescribing antibiotic drops for the eyes.

I had serious tearing of my eyes first thought to be blocked tear ducts and dry eyes. Trying to unblock ducts made no improvement. Turned out that CLL was in the conjunctive part of the eye. I was not currently on CLL medication, but then had to start Calquence. Tearing cleared up. I have check ups with a eye cancer specialist at the U of Michigan every few months. While CLL in the eyes is designated as "rare", perhaps it would be good to have a specialist exam your eyes.
