creatinine 1.1
Hello there, I have not started treatment yet, but my creatinine levels tend to run a bit high. They often fluctuate for me when I’m dehydrated, I try to keep up with drinking water regularly and my tests stay within normal range. I do have some kidney failure in my family, so it’s something I watch.
If you have a high creatinine number (above 1.1 - 110 in Australia) and BUN number (above 20) it may be an indication your kidney function is being impacted by your CLL. As with all blood tests, I wouldn't be concerned unless it stays high or increases, since as Snakejaw notes, not drinking enough water is usually behind occasional high answers.

Hi,
My creatinine has wavered between 0.96 to 1.12. When it was on the higher side all the doctors I associated with said to drink more water. I recently had an ultrasound and there is a 6mm mass in the left kidney which was not identifiable, therefore I’m going to have a CT scan this week. Also, I just finished taking Venetoclax after 2 years, and I wonder if there was any correlation to the kidney.
My fluctuating Creatinine levels have been exactly the same as yours Schubert - for many years now , + CKD stage 3a though no other complications . The only (non renal) change is that my Ibrutinib has been paused since this February to check if any effect on my episodes of A/Fib .A random arrhythmia NOT rapid heart beats so far.
