No financial interest. I like not having to wipe surfaces with chemicals to sanitize them. I run these a few hours a day (in bedroom) or overnight in living room. Replacing a bulb every few years is easier.

You may want to be very cautious about recommending that method. I believe that Ionic systems usually generate Ozone (O3) and there are concerns about the affect of higher concentrations. See
There is a large body of written material on ozone and the use of ozone indoors. However, much of this material makes claims or draws conclusions without substantiation and sound science.....
When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts of ozone can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and, throat irritation. It may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma as well as compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections.

As an alternative, see these HEPA filters that can capture most COVID particulates:
This is not an ozone generator, and does not significantly increase ozone levels. A very small amount of ozone can be generated, nothing like the ozone generators popular a few decades ago. California will not allow anything that produces any ozone at all. Products we use in our everyday lives (certain brands of fans, UV bulbs, refrigerators) can produce more ozone than this unit. I like that it pulls more gunk from the air, than it generates out, into it.
And since it is a newer technology, I run it in rooms intermittently, except at my doorway. I don't run it while I am sleeping, just when out of the bedroom. I agree one doesn't need to be continuously exposed to the technology while it is working. I recommend it only be run intermittently, it can sterilize surfaces after about 4 hours so no need to run continuously. The astronauts in the Space Station breathe this air, that's how it came to be developed. I do have daily fresh air come into the house/car, and would rather risk this than chemicals. I happen to react to chemicals, others don't. So this may be an option for people who can't tolerate breathing even a small amount of disinfectants, and/or don't have the time/energy to wipe surfaces. I do find the house is dustier, I need to vacuum & dust more, the pollen and dust and whatnot complexes drop to surfaces.
