Hello,
Is there a list of blood tests for CLL with values and explanations?
This pinned post: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo... provides you with links that explain the purpose of different blood tests.
Dr Susan Leclair has provided excellent videos explaining them in an easy to understand manner on Patient Power. patientpower.info/search?q=... beginning with patientpower.info/chronic-l...
You can also download a spreadsheet from the CLL Society which explains the purpose of each blood test. You don't need to know how to use a spreadsheet. Per cllsociety.org/cll-sll-pati...
"Each lab test indicated at the top of the sheets includes a brief description about the test. Clicking the question mark next to each test will lead you to a brief description. Below the question mark, you will see the average range of normal values for that test. Ranges may vary slightly from lab to lab"
Understanding the importance of your different blood test results and monitoring your trends empowers you as a patient. The most important blood tests are the results for your haemoglobin (anaemia), platelets (bleeding risk), neutrophil (infection risk) and lymphocyte (CLL blood tumour changes).
