Why did they change from Capsule to tablet? Has anyone noticed a difference in side effects or potency?

PPI = Proton Pump Inhibitor drugs, which reduce stomach acid, thereby lessening the distressing symptoms of GERD, (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease) and thereby reducing the risk of oesophageal cancer from the constant acid erosion of the oesophagus.Omeprazole (Losec) is a commonly prescribed PPI. If you were on a prescription for omeprazole and prescribed the older capsule formulation of acalabrutinib, you probably would have been prescribed a less effective H2 antagonist drug like famotidine (Pepcid), which you needed to take 2 hours after your acalabrutinib capsule, so that there was enough stomach acid to assist with the absorption of the acalabrutinib.
