Good morning
I finally made some Covid antibodies after a bout with Covid. Not many, 1353, however, it is something. Not sure how long they will last.

First, thank goodness you made it through a bout of Covid.
Second, what a tough way to make antibodies.
That's great that you finally made some antibodies! I'm sorry that it took a case of COVID for that to happen for you.
I am getting my first antibody test on Friday. I have not had COVID before as far as I know. We'll see if the vaccines have done the job, I guess.
Chris
great news !
just went to my CLL doctor this week I have 14,000 after the new booster Moderna bivalent. Happy for that as we head overseas tomorrow. Glad you have some but I’m also sorry you had to get covid to get them also. And here in Sydney everybody seems to have it.

I think that's a really decent amount of antibodies. It won't keep you from getting infected next time, but should mitigate symptoms a lot.
They usually cite 6 months in normal people for the duration of antibody protection. It peaks soon after infection, then begins a slow decline. Our wonky immune system may change that.
How long between the first symptoms of infection and the spike IgG test?
Did you get Evusheld at any point?
=seymour=
I did have Evusheld last July and was wondering if it was left over antibody's from the Evusheld. I Came down with Covid about the 2nd day after thanksgiving and took the Labcorp test 2 days ago.
