hello. Here in Argentina it is late. Thus. good evening! I have a concern that perhaps someone else has experienced. After 3 years of using 3 ibrutinib 420mg capsules per day, practically no side effects. They lowered my dose to 2 capsules of ibrutinib 280mg and it works well in my blood tests. but I have the adverse effects that I did not have with the 3 capsules. cramps in the fingers. cough. Has anyone else experienced this? I appreciate the comments you can make me. Greetings. and good luck on this path

It would be rather strange to have adverse effects occur on a lower dose, which are not present at a higher dose unless there is some withdrawal effect, which should not be the case here. So that points to this occurring coincidentally. Cramps generally respond to magnesium, so ask your pharmacist for some topical magnesium cream products that you can massage into your hands and fingers. Based on my experience with leg cramps, you should feel the cramps resolving within a couple of minutes.

I would recommend seeing your doctor about your cough. You need to have your lungs checked for any infection.

Gracias x tu respuesta. Siempre tan amable!

"Sorry for answering you in Spanish. I am very bad with my English is possible a coincidence. My lungs and bronchi are fine, I have had CT scans and I have no problem. Maybe it's sinusitis or GERD. It was a great coincidence that it happened at the same time. Thanks x your answer. Always so friendly!"

I had cramps all over my body with additional issues. I switched to Alacabrutinib after 14 months. I held my fingers under running warm water to try and get them to unlock.

I'm replying in English, although I live in Costa Rica and speak Spanish, as it is the language of this site. I too reduced from three to two ibrutinib per day to reduce side effects, and it worked. I do have the hand cramps and some pain, but I think arthritis has something to do with that (I'm 81). I do a series of hand exercises most days and that has helped a lot. I found them on this site healthline.com/health/osteo...

I've also had chronic cough for some time, and like you, nothing to do with lungs. I have found that a quarter of a good sized lime with bees honey and hot water every day works to control the cough.

No cost, no chemicals so give it a try. It works well for me.

All the best

Dan
