Good Morning, Has anyone broken out in a rash on their hand or elsewhere from taking Venclexta. I am taking 600mg daily and have been since November of 2021. The rash is on the palm of my hand. I am also loosing weight, tired and lost my appetite. I am working with my Oncologist and will discuss this further during the week. My numbers are okay (1.6 WBC, 3.8 RBC, 90 Platelets and 3650 IGM. I have been to a dermatologist who is giving me creams.

Thanks

Rosa

Rosa, to help people understand, it would be helpful for you to say your diagnosis is Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma.

CLL dosage is lower max of 400mg daily, as has been said in previous replies to your posts.

You may get some responses in regard to how various rashes can be treated and that can be information you can talk with your Dr. about---but, specific rashes are often specific to individuals and there is not one that fits all, even if triggered by a specific medicine.

I hope you get some replies relating others experiences and that you will respond to those who reply.

This link gives a good presentation of possible Leukemia related rashes:

The site is quite busy, to stay with the subject, click on the orange arrows as you go through the site. I hope you can identify something that may help you to sort out what is going on with you, as you can see, it may not be your medications.

I did experience some skin issues during venetaclax, however, the skin rashes were worse during disease progression prior to therapy.

Yes, I had a rash start on my hands and ankles after moving up to the full dose, 400mg, of Venetoclax. It eventually grew and covered most of my body.

We paused Venetoclax for a week and it immediately went away—basically after the first 24 hours of being off V.

After restarting a week later at full dose, the rash never came back.
