Thank you so much to everyone who responded to my earlier post...your reassurance and accounts of your own experiences have been a tremendous help.

For the benefit of others, I will post details of how tomorrow goes.

Best wishes to you all and a big thank you to everyone who responded to my worries. xx

Based on most people here and my personal experience with husbands infusions with obinutuzumab just be very aware during that first infusion around 15 minutes in and if you have even the slightest feeling of discomfort like a flushing tense feeling immediately let the nurse know so they can pause and allow time for recovery and most likely will restart at a reduced rate without further issues. I hope you will have a family member there beside you to help monitor. My husband’s first treatment back in 2017 was with Gazyva and leukeron and he got 2 years treatment free. He had a second round in 2019 same reaction on first infusion and last year again on first one finished without issues and then began on Venclexta and today he is UMRD and off treatment again. Best wishes it is in my opinion a miracle drug even by itself and read that it happens because your body is experiencing a tremendous purging of cancer cells all at once and Although my husband did not have huge nodes the prominent one behind his right ear which had been about the size of an almond just a day later was not even able to be seen that is just how fast it works.
