I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013. Commenced Acalabrutinib in a clinical trial August 2020. Progress going reasonably well. I am triple vaccinated against covid19. Immunity if any is questionable?
Molnupiravir, an antiviral medication was recently added to our PBS for access by high risk (blood cancer patients etc) testing positive to covid19.
Does anyone have any practical knowledge of the success of Molnupiravir in high risk immuno compromised patients please?

Having caught Covid (along with my husband) in January 2022. I went the Cev route with access to the treatments offered by the hospital. Couldn't fit me in for the infusion route so I was offered Molnupiravir (anti viral) treatment. 5 days of 8 tablets a day. 4 in the morning and 4 at night. It worked for me . Although I did seem to take longer to recover than my hubby. It Just gave me a slightly nauseous feeling after taking the tablets.
