3rd Covid Infection

My luck continues with my CLL journey, 13 months since diagnosis and start of treatment, I now on my 3rd Covid Infection. Alpha half way through my Obinatuzamab cycles back in March, then ? Delta in October treated with Monoclonal antibodies on day 10 and now ? Omicron. Not sure where I caught it this time ? From either my 2 year old or 4 Yr old. Good thing is atleast I will be out of isolation for my 58th Birthday.

Steve,

If it wasn’t for bad luck you clearly wouldn’t have any luck at all.

Is your doctor trying to locate an antiviral for you?

How are you feeling?

Cheers.Feeling a bit rough but breathing is OK. The covid treatment for immunocompromised patients has move to the community, I will chase my GP in the morning for a referral to my local treatment center. The automated NHS system for referral for CLL PCR positive patients is backlogged so 111 told me to do it through my GP.

On the negative side of things you have been unlucky to catch COVID-19 on 3 occasions. On the positive side you have recovered from 2. Hope you recover soon from your 3rd bout.Ann

Hoping you’re feeling better soon, Steve! Talk about a bad run of luck with You & Covid!! 😔 Hoping you’ll kick Omni's butt just like You did with Delta & Covid 1!!! 💪🤛👊 💜

I'm so very sorry to hear that but glad that you are getting through it. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery. X

Hopefully you have some resistance to it already and will weather it with mild symptoms. Good luck!

You must be full of all sorts of antibodies by now! My husband and I both had COVID over Christmas. We are fairly certain it was Omicron as we barely had any symptoms. Some days I felt a bit sluggish with some congestion but I was mainly bummed out that Christmas was ruined. Hope you get over this with few issues. Happy 58th Birthday!

Bad news, I guess you're catching it through young children and an impaired immunity.

But clearly enough savvy T Helper Cells on gaurd telling the B Cells be alert and up regulate IgG production to get you through it!

Nevertheless onerous.

Hope you recover fully and fast.

4 Covid shots, 3 infections, 2 little ones.

I hope someone was kind enough to give you a partridge in a pear tree.

One SCC too? I think we can call that a full house.

And you're still standing. Hats off to you sir.
