I have been diagnosed wit CLL stage A this week. I am on W&W. Where do I find good dietary advice please? Any supplements good for slowing the progress?

Early stage CLL
I hope you stay at w&w for many many years. This is the best place to come to for advice. My personal experience with supplements and trying to find something that would slow the progress was a bad one. My advice is don't do it! Supplements accelerated my CLL I believe by boosting my B cells. Now on treatment after 6 years.
I think it is natural we want to do everything we can to slow this down. Unfortunately, it is not that easy. It is strange to just sit and wait, it's not in our human nature to do that.
The pace of the disease is dictated by your markers I believe (deletions, un/mutated).
Just eat well and healthy, in terms of supplements speak to your doctor as a lot of the supplements "ordinary" people take might speed things up.
Keep active, just make sure you are as healthy as possible apart from having CLL. Look after your mental health, it can be hard on us.
I hope your disease is a slow burner ❤
My doc said enjoy life, no fad diets especially Keto. I eat whatever I want. Food does not directly effect our disease. But certain foods may make you tired etc. I do go to acupuncture to help my immune system & have used homeopathy but is not directly related to my CLL. I tried one formula from an Acupuncturist Specialist that was supposed to help my CLL and unfortunately it didn't work. So best advice is don't punish yourself by removing favorite foods. Moderation is good. 💕
Hi Vocals,
Welcome to the forum!
As a newly diagnosed person, you might find this post helpful. It’s a collection of practical tips gathered from this forum, to help us on our CLL journey. I wrote it several years ago, but have updated it from time to time, especially the section on vaccinations.

Thank you so much for all the information on the vaccinations. It’s really useful and I will be discussing these with the GP
