Hi

Received my third primary Pfizer jab 10 days ago initial jabs were AZ

After 5 days my armpit lymph nodes became swollen only in the arm that was jabbed. Has anyone else experienced this .I’m on W and W and my bloods are pretty good

Thanks George

Hi George

Yes, it happened to me after my third vaccine (Pfizer) my armpit lymph nodes were huge! They weren’t painful though and went down after a couple of weeks. I’m hoping it was a sign my immune system was responding to the vaccine 🤞.

Had this after my second jab I think. It went down after few weeks.

Had swollen nodes after 2nd and 3rd Moderna. Mine got as big as 8 cm ball both times by Day 5. Painful if I move my left arm. It took 7 months for it to recede to 2 cm. I had waited for the 50 mcg Moderna booster in the hopes that it would lessen the effect but it is about as bad as the original 100 mcg shot. I am amazed at how fast I can grow a lemon-sized node in less time than it takes a lemon tree to grow a real lemon. 😞

Hubby had this with his second shingles shot. He had the 1st shingles, then covid lock-down, then the 2 covid vaccinations, a waiting period and the 2nd shingles. No swollen nodes until the last. It is resolving now after several weeks.

Mine were up under both arms and various other places and I felt horrible. I did however stupidly agree that I would have the flu jab at the same time. I think that is why I was so rough afterwards. I am on W&W, since early 2018. I hope it settles soon - it is apparently good to get a reaction, it means your body is trying to fight by building immunity. Apparently. Liz

Hi

I have had a similar reaction to all doses. So the same as you. AZ then Pfizer. Enlarged node in the arm of the injection and two days of feeling fairly dreadful. I also had twice now a red itch rash on both arms about a day after the vaccine. Flu vaccine this weekend so that to look forward too.

Have you had Shingrix yet? Or others like hib etc?

I haven’t had the shingles jab yet but had the flu one a month ago no reaction

Yes. Five days later I had pain in my left armpit. I also had a week of muzzy headache as if I had been drinking. I had my third Pfizer a week after my flu jab.
