Park still lovely but signs of Autumn.

Had a lovely walk around our local park this morning. The trees are showing signs of Autumn but flower beds still very colourful.

That looks like a beautifully kept park much like ours. It’s been an absolute godsend during lockdown when other places were out of bounds or closed. We had a walk round ours yesterday and apart from a burst of warmer weather next week, it certainly is feeling autumnal 😊

It is beautiful with lots of areas to get away from people. One of the huge Monkey Puzzle trees was blown down in 2018 but most of it has been used to produce carvings around the park. Here is the latest

I am in Colorado .High altitude semi desert climate and very cool evening temperatures.

Lat year we had a sudden but not uncommon eight inch snow storm on September 8. It wreaked havoc on all my lovely bushes and trees Enjoy

Colorado is at the same latitude as many portions of England, 40 degrees north of the equator, so we have very similar climates. except for colorado 's high altitude and less atmosphere making for intense sun light .Probably like going into many high altitude mountainous areas in Switzerland I would think In any case enjoy the English gardens

Colorado is far further. South than England 39 Deg as opposed to 50deg.

Agree. I was out with the grandchildren yesterday and the park had leaves all over the floor. 🍂🍁🍂🍁

It was Peggy, a lovely relaxing walk. Three weeks in now with medication and all well. No side effects to speak of. Know more on Monday when I see consultant. Stay safe x
