Is there any protocol to be taken when getting the booster vaccine eg. discontinuing Ibrutinib prior to getting the booster and waiting a few days after before starting Meds again?

Booster vaccine
Other than perhaps having a gap of two weeks between other vaccinations, to avoid confusion of which vaccine caused any serious side effects, I'm not aware of any. As I've explained a few times, per the link below, you'd need to be off ibrutinib (or any other BTKi drug) for at least 3 weeks in the hope of improving your response, which comes with its own risks.

One is planned and includes discontinuing Ibrutinib for one week prior and 2 weeks after. It may not be available til September. More when I learn more.
I just got my third Moderna COVID vaccine yesterday but I am off all the VIPOR meds and the trial and have been for 13 months now in a CR from large B cell NHL. So, not on anything at this time. I only had a sore arm from the third COVID vaccine. I did get my first Shingrix vaccine two weeks before this third COVID and mostly had a very sore arm from that one, too. Tired of all the shots but maybe they will help me avoid something worse so will get them. Probably my flu shot is next in fall and then in 2 to 6months my second Shringrix vaccine. Still wearing mask, washing hands and social distancing as needed. I also get IVIG every other month from my oncologist.
