I have been on imbruvia for 2 weeks, I had a crown on my back tooth replaced a few days ago, the dentist gave me a shot in my mouth to deaden my gums while doing some filing. My gums and that tooth has been aching a few days now it’s a Saturday so I can’t get a hold of any Dr. I know it’s an infection, can you take penicillin while taking Imbruvia.

Yes, you should be fine. I've been on imbruvica for nearly 4 years and have been taking Penicillin all that time. ( I take the penicillin because I no longer have a spleen. )

I hope your tooth gets better soon.

Horrible but also warm salty mouth washes will hopefully help.

Yes, I had amoxicillin post dental work after going back on Ibrutinib after the extraction itself, with no problem. Had to take paracetamol (Tylenol) as well for a while due to aching jaw.
