Sore throat after jab 2

I’ve had a sore throat for a week after my second Covid jab. Just wondering if it will ever go and if it’s the CLL advancing or the side effects of the vaccine. Probably will never know!

I had a sore throat and headache a day after my recent second Pfizer jab. It developed into a full blown cold, coughing up green/grey phlegm with blocked runny nose. It is now four days since the jab and the symptoms do seem to be improving. My CLL has been in remission for nearly 8 years.

That sounds horrid. So glad you are on the mend now.

The color of the phlegm would indicate infection of some sort. Have you reported your situation to your Dr.?

No phlegm just a sore throat. My GP is pretty unobtainable these days. Have asked my CLL nurse practitioner for advice by email so will see what she recommends.....

I assume you mean you now have no green/grey phlegm. Good that you reported to RN. Do state your entire experience to RN, not just present.
