BENDECA AND RITUXIN COUGH

After one B&R treatment I developed a tinkling cough, especially when attempting to speak. Question: has anyone found themselves in a similar situation and were they prescribed any meds for the cough that were effective. Thank you for any support,Lee

Hi Whalexx - I recently started O & V treatment and developed a cough. Blood tests and a chest x-ray found my cough is caused by phlegm and not an infection. I have been prescribed antibiotics to help ensure I don't develop an infection and these are sulfamethox-azole & trimethoprim tablets (taken three days a week). I still have a cough, but at least I know its not an infection. Your CLL consultant should be able to help with the prescription.Good luck
