ZOE COVID Symptom Study are offering a webinar on COVID Vaccines and the immune system on Wednesday 3rd March, 4pm GMT / 11am ET.
You will be joined by Prof. Ellie Barnes, Professor of Hepatology and Immunology at University of Oxford and Dr Anna Goodman, Infectious Diseases Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital London.
They’ll explore the latest ZOE data from over 500,000 logged vaccines to understand how they are working in the real world and cut the data to look at efficacy and after-effects in the different vaccines and different groups. They'll unpack what this means for people with compromised immune systems, including those on immunosuppressive drugs.
Wow. Thanks so much Jackie !!!!!!!! This is the Webinar we've all wanted. I signed up and then had a look at the questions. They are so intense and intelligent. I'm really looking forward to this.
Many questions and descriptions referred to specifically the Pfizer or the AstraZeneca shot. Some mention "the Covid vaccination". Hoping that anyone here going to post a question, specifies which shot they are referring to.
These webinars are very professionally run and very informative. Because of the large numbers online don’t be surprised to find you are watching on YouTube.
I am guessing GMT is Grenwich Mean Time(SP?). I am in the U.S. in Ohio, and until now have never had an occasion to utilize this noble standard in my personal activity.
Thanks for the posting of the notice and link to this webinar. There was a lot of worthwhile information , clearly explained. I found the regional British accents very reassuring. I am a bit spoiled By his Health Unlocked site, and the CLL Society, that present information directed specifically to the ramifications of data presented specifically to CLL, but there were plenty of answers that one could extrapolate to the characteristics of CLL . Besides, I have so many comorbities, there is always something I can Relate to!
