Hi Andreag555,

Sorry to hear about your father RT diagnosis. Quick background on myself. Dx'd with CLL in 2014. Various lines of treatment. Heavely treated with about 6 treatments one after the other(Sorry chemo brain keeps me from remembering all of them!) Was on Venetolclax in 2018. Diagnosed with RT in 2018.(DLBCL). Started RICE, followed by R-CHOP and then R-EPOCH (I hope the order is correct). They were all tough regimes. As far as I remember even upto the last treatment, there was not good progress and my wonderful consultant was looking for other avenues.

Then 2 or 3 months down the line without any treatment, the DLBCL disappeared. I did ask my doctor, what the hell just happened! He said looks like the treatment/s may have had a delayed reaction and kicked in( my words, not his). So far in remission with DLBCL, and back on Ibrutinib to deal with the CLL which was still in the background, and hope to move forward with SCT. I hope this helps a little. Please feel to reach out if I can try and answer any questions you have. Best of luck to your father.

Hi Feisal, thank you so much for posting your story. It's great to hear we have options and so pleased that your treatments worked. You must've been over the moon! And still in remission as well.

We were shocked at the speed of the RT. My dad was with us Xmas day, completely fine and 2 weeks later he felt under the weather. we thought it was a virus. Until he ended up in hospital and was diagnosed. Scary how quickly it happened. I will certainly reach out. Thank you for the kind offer. An incredible group of people on here. Are you in the UK Feisal?
