Cracked nails
This is a common side effect with Ibrutinib, with many finding a high dose of biotin can help, but it takes a while for the effect to show in your new nail growth. See the Related Posts for more on this and other remedies that members have reported as helpful.
If you do decide on taking biotin, be aware that it can interfere with the accuracy of some (generally hormonal) blood tests, so you need to stop taking biotin for a few days before any scheduled blood test. See: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...

I'm taking 1500 mcg of biotin and 3 hair and nail gummies a day.
It seems to work.My hair and nails are growing..Also using hard as hoof on my nails
I note you say your hair is growing, my hair is thinning a lot when I told my Haematologist consultant he says Ibrutinib is not the cause.
After a few months of taking imbruvica (first 140mg and then 280mg per day) my nails started breaking and splitting and my finger tips became cracked. I had to use band aids and finger cots to avoid my nails catching on everything. Then I saw a post which recommended soaking your nails in olive oil for 10 minutes a day. I have been doing this, massaging the oil into my nail beds for a minute or two after removing them from the olive oil and after only two weeks my nails have stopped splitting and are growing fast. I also started using Nutrogena hand cream for my finger tips and either because of the olive oil or the Nutrogena or both, my nails and finger tips are doing fine 😊.
