Back pain

I've recently developed a back pain that I have not experienced before. It's difficult to describe. It starts in the middle of my spine and then it radiates everywhere giving me the feeling that my back is collapsing! I've always suffered with lower back pain but like I said this is different. I do have swollen nodes in my neck, armpits and groin. I'm on w&w. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with CLL or not.

Hi Misty. You need to see yr GP. New onset central back pain needs a diagnosis ... soonish.

It's not possible or safe to make any causal comments.

Do you have any abdominal pain with it?

It's important. You are right to question it.

Good luck.

Best wishes

Jig

Ooops ....how do I lock my post? Can I lock it after posting? My stomach has been a bit off of late, I'm not sure it's related. But I will go to my GP. I did mention it to my GP, she said it was probably nodes pressing on my nerves. It's been like this for about 6 weeks.

Sorry to hear this... it could be any number of things, and it needs addressing as soon as possible... it might be nodes pressing on nerves, which I have experienced.

I did see my GP for a general appointment, she said it could be nodes. So I didn't peruse it further. Thanks for advice, I'll go again!

Hello Seema,

Sorry to hear this but it’s a complicated issue and do see your GP soonest.

It could be a number of problems. I eventually found out mine was down to mild Scoliosis.

Happy to speak on private chat as I have a good local Osteopath and Physiotherapist.

Regards

Colette

Hi MystyUK. I had very similar sounding back pain. As others have said back pain could be anything...or nothing. I saw a physiotherapist,my GP, an osteopath, and a chiropractor over the course of a couple of months. That's how desperate I was. I couldn't even turn over in bed. I did get temporary relief from Amytriptaline, prescribed for nerve pain by the GP. That was a real help, then the pain returned but rather than being all over was more specifically on one side. Two sessions with a chiropractor and some exercises to be done three times a day worked like magic. I hope your back pain can be resolved too.

I’ve been getting some back pain off and on as well and I feel like a pressure or slight fullness at my liver area when I lay down. That being said I just had a Ct scan a month ago and the other issues have been prior to the CT scan the scan was clear saying all organs are normal is size with no cysts or growths. All blood work was in normal range. I haven’t talked to my Dr about it as I have an appointment in 3 weeks.

I had a CT scan, haven't had the full results, so let's see what they reveal!
