1 week into imbruvica. Experiencing muscle fatigue and weakness. WBC went from 55 to 215. Dr said it’s normal. Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with the muscle fatigue?

And as Ibruitinib empties out your nodes the ALC / Lymph# often rises causing WBC to rise, but it should start slowly decreasing when the nodes are normal size.

I use red LED panel and found it extremely helpful. Could not sleep at night before
It is normal. WBC goes up first, and then normalizes. I have had cramps in chest, legs etc. painful, but they disappeared finally. I also had other symptoms for periods of time, but they all disappeared. A clinical scientist said maybe the drug works on different parts of the body at different times. I had skin sensitivity, it disappeared. I had very thin weak nails that just peeled off for a few months, and it caused cuts in fingers. Very big nuisance to not be able to use nails when opening packages etc. But it disappeared. Right now am feeling pretty good but in between blood pressure spikes and arrhythmia (pretty common with this drug), but i believe i will overcome this with better eating habits and exercise, and relaxation. I am able to work still, am 75, so the meds do work well enough to live a fairly normal life. Just do not overdo anything is my advice. Rest I find is very important.
I totally understand the anxiety connected to taking the med. I was really feeling incertain, as it is a daily thing. But now I feel OK about it. Takes time. Just when things seem to get worse, they suddenly get better. Like a seesaw. Just take care of yourself. Do not overtire yourself, get the exercise you need, possibly walking. (I keep thinking of getting a dog so it will motivate me to walk more), and eat properly - when you are hungry, not too close to bedtime (that really helped me a lot when I started getting digestion problems, gone now) - and drink lots of fluids. You most likely know this stuff already. Start to enjoy new routines. I wish you the best.
