Can anyone advise on the specific process for the NHS Antibody HOME Test? I know that you go online complete your name and mobile number, but what happens next? I was surprised, on the first screen, that it didn't ask for an address? Does someone call you back on the mobile phone number provided to take more details?

The antibody test offered to NHS and care workers is a lab test on blood taken from a vein, as opposed to the home test kits that were supposed to be available commercially, then weren't.
People have been sent a NHS letter asking them to take part in a large scale trial of a home based test which takes just one hour to show whether or not they are currently infected with the Covid19 virus. See NewDawn's post 2 days ago.

Yes, but the home test is not an antibody test, which tests for PAST infection. The NHS is offering to test people with CURRENT symptoms. This is either a traditional PCR test, via a swab sample taken at a NHS test site, or the newer, faster "lab-in-cartridge" test (developed at Imperial College London), via a saliva sample from the mouth. The NHS is starting to use the faster test in hospitals and at test sites, but it can also be done by you, at home, using the kit supplied.

bennevisplace, thank you. So if you believe that you have been exposed to the virus and recovered (no symptoms other than a cough) what test is required. I thought it was the antibody test.
In that case an antibody test is what you'd have. NHS is only giving those to NHS and care workers at the moment.
