Treatment continues and lymph nodes responding-amazingly!

Hi guys just an update. I have have my third infusion but really only finished my second full dosage of Obinutuzumab as the first vial is split into 2 days. So far I have had no side effects other than a mild headache every now and then. I have been able to come home do yoga, cook, laundry etc without any letting up!!! My energy levels are great.

My lymph nodes which were the reason I had started treatment have gone down considerably almost immediately! I can put my hair up and move with no impediment. Prior to treatment my arms could not fully extend as the nodes under my arms were very swollen and my neck extended out past my ears. To look at me now you would not notice anything was swollen at all. I can still see a little bit of swelling and I can feel them in my neck but only where they had really gotten bad. I’m wondering if there is scar tissue that will never go back to normal.

My bloods are all normal, but they were normal before treatment as well so that may not be helpful for any of you who are wondering about your numbers.

I’ll keep you all posted! Stay safe everyone! I hope each day this treatment will allow me a long remission 5-8 years if it does, then this whole thing seems very manageable. Fingers Crossed.

Wonderful! We must be on a similar timeline. I have had three infusions, the first two broken up in two days. I have noticed my lymph nodes shrinking although they were not that big. I have my fourth infusion tomorrow. My white blood count dropped to normal range. It’s amazing.

I wish you best of luck on this similar path we are on.
