Thank you for posting! My husband had heard that CV would likely fade when the weather became hot and humid and we discussing this just today at lunch. Am going to show him this article now.

Some comments from government have been ambiguous- their ability to cope may well improve as the numbers affected by the seasonal flu reduce as the weather improves. That is why in the uk they are trying to reduce the peak numbers which will spread out the number with the virus over a longer time allowing hospitals to cope. Time will tell whether this was a good idea as It is not what most counties are doing

Well, there's my vague hope that my recent pneumonia vaccine booster might offer me at least some protection gone up in smoke.
