Has anyone had a problem switching to the Imbruvica tablet? I am having some new side effects and possibly having an allergy, itching. I have stopped until I hear from the doctor.

I switched last year to the tablet and did not notice any change. Presumably the ingredients in one 420mg tablet are identical to the ingredients in three 14mg capsules. I don’t see why you would be allergic to one and not the other. Could it be something in the coating of the tablet?
Let us know what your doc says. I have always thought other than that one is in tablet form and the other capsule, that the ingredients were identical.
You're not the first person to report problems when switch from the capsule to the single tablet - including allergic-type reaction. Presumably it has to do with the enteric coating, fillers or binders in the tab that are not in the cap. Since this is a documented reaction for some people... if it were me, I would be insisting on getting back on the capsules. They are still made and available. That's all we have here in BC for example.
Yes. I had immediate allergic reactions to the tablet - 3 years back. The 70 mg capsule AE adverse effects are mild compared to the tablet.
I’m surprised they are still on the market.
When I questioned the pharmaceutical supply house, I was told this was a problem.
May we know what countries are still dispensing the tablet? Do any of the administrators know?
Thanks!

2 weeks ago when I was switched from the capsule to the tablet the pharmacy gave me a 18" x 39" paper covered on both sides with print so tiny one almost has to use a magnifying glass to read it. There is a box with Imbruviaca ingredients in capsules -And ingredients in tablets and they are NOT at all the same, now of course some of it is the same to do the actual job that we want but the ingredients to put together a tablet is different than what it takes to make a capsule. So I feel that it is not truthful to tell a patient they are EXACTLY the same.
There is something in the tablet that is not in the capsule that is causing me an allergic reaction. And I was posting to see if any others have had an allergic reaction to the tablet. I have been on the capsules for 3 years and have had many side effects but no allergic reaction.
Thanks to all who have sent comments,
I think this is a wonderful site.

When my pharmacy tried to switch to the tablet I asked to stay on the capsules and they agreed.
