how long will you be on steroids. i had a methylprednisolone dosepak for 6 days no problems.

Presumably your doctor has prescribed both and s/he is aware if you are diabetic.

Steroids often make people feel a bit hyper, loads of energy, eating lots, weight gain, perhaps feeling a bit anxious and difficulty sleeping. In CLL steroids will make your lymph count rise so don't fret about that, they will come down again when you stop taking them.

The steroids will dampen the immune response and production of antibodies that are eliminating your red blood cells and causing anaemia. It's usually very effective.
