Wow, Saturday 4/20

Day 2 of infusion. Of Obinutuzumab started with labs 5:15 am.

Imbrutinib places on hold til Monday restart

Labs came back ok on potassium level. 7:00 am

Had a nurse assigned just for me. Had to wait till he got to hospital 8:45 am ( hey one of us has to have some sleep)

Premeds around 10:00 am

Wow what a rush on the Benadryl

11:00 am start of Obinutuzumab

This is gonna be a long day

Just finished 900 ml infusion 4/21/2019 5:15am 18hrs lets hope that record does not need to be broken by anyone.

So what started on Monday ends on a Sunday

Hospitalized for Mon 8 hrs out patient clinic reaction day 2.5 ml into infusion

Tuesday got a bed in hospital around 2.30

Hooked up to saline 9.5 hrs low potassium on labs

Wed labs at 5:15 am high potassium infusion put on hold 24 hrs on saline

Thursday still not good reading on potassium and phosphorus 24 hrs on saline

Friday getting there on labs but not quite yet

Another 24 hours on saline

Saturday well you can see that described above 24 hours saline and Obinutuzumab

Sunday 5:15 finished Obinutuzumab flushing lines getting labs

So let’s see how long till i am cut loose from the machines and discharged

I am exhausted 💤

Lost count of labs but think it was around 25-30

Not going to loose the faith can only get better from here fill you all in later

hopefully the next time will be better. do you actually need to do this 3 times in first month and then once per month for 5 more months?

Yes that’s the protocol.

More like weak as 💩right now. Lol

I was saying to the hospital staff i thought you came to rest and heal. They laughed and said no your here to be monitored.

Sleep deprived is the theme there labs every 8 hours, vitals every four.

Joe, good for you to be so strong in getting through all of it! It really will pass, though I know it doesn't feel like it right now. You are doing it!

Love and prayers from Ohio, and hope for better days soon,

Annie

Hang in there Joe. I know the feeling all too well. You'll get through this and feel so much the better for it.

Hi Joe. I have a big problem with Benadryl. I sometimes puke and almost pass out and get loopy. They started giving it in a drip bag and helps enormously. Still get loopy but not as bad. Have to make sure I eat before treatment too.

Best of luck to you and I hope things go smoother in the future 😘 Lisa
