When you have CLL are you more prone to get headaches? I get frequent headaches that seem to start in the top part of my neck in the back. It seems like it’s muscle related. Is this common with CLL

Headaches
Prior to treatment I had crushing headaches along with dizziness and blurred vision. It was attributed to swollen lymph nodes in my neck putting pressure on my inner ear. It cleared immediately upon starting treatment with ibrutinib and obinutuzumab. But we're all different and headaches can be from any number of things. It's something to discuss with your doctor.
Thank you
I agree that there needs to be the Dr. ruling out any causes--you are no different from most of us who when confronted with a health problem, often turn first to CLL as the probable culprit, however, as we go along, we find that our lives in regard to health have to be pretty much treated as before we had CLL, but, of course, with CLL as a possible factor as well as say, stress, allergies of all kinds, and other diseases.
I hope you get it sorted and there is a quick resolution to the headaches.
At a recent visit with my new cll specialist I discussed two types of headaches I've been suffering from for months. Sinus and my whole head. He said both types are an unfortunate part of CLL for many, due to the increasing white cells building up in the head. It puts pressure on, thus can cause pain in, those already tight, cramped quarters. I then saw my primary doctor who has prescribed something in hopes it would alleviate the whole head headaches, but because they are caused by the CLL he couldn't promise. It's supposed to take 2-3 weeks to fully work, but after a few days I am feeling relief. Praying symptoms continue improving as it was debilitating more days than not. Even my eyeballs were hurting, and I'd get random, sharp, shooting pains throughout my head. As far as the sinus headaches, I have been fighting those with regular nasal rinsing, a prescription and doctor recommended otc spray, an otc allergy pill, and occasional sudafed-when congestion is at its worst. Both doctors have told me to keep on that regimen. If I stray at all my sinuses slam me.
Thank you for your answer. It is very helpful. It helps me to understand CLL better. I am having a CT scan on Thursday. This CT scan was ordered by a doctor, that works in an after hours clinic. He that does not know my situation the way my oncologist does.
