Ibrutinib and hair color/perms

Has anybody taking ibrutinib had any problems with getting their hair colored or permed?

Be prepared to have curly hair.. quite common on Imbruvica (ibrutinib). Might guide your dye choice. 👩🏻‍🦰👩🏻👩🏼

I have been on Imbrutinib for 1 year now. Don’t need a perm hair went curly. No problems with hair colour. All in all my hair has improved on ibrutinib.

I agree Ann, I have curls for the first time in my life (I’m 70). I colour my hair no probs. Been on Ibrutinib for nearly 2 years.

I’m experiencing the opposite phenomenon on Ib. My hair has gone completely straight and the curls I had at the back have disappeared! 🤨

It’s early days so maybe the curls will come back! Sorry, no idea about colouring or perming though as I don’t do either.

Dear Marisa. No problem at all with color but my hair became curlier so I didn’t need a perm any more. Anna

My hair went crazy in the beginning, thinned a little and was more curly but is now back to normal, maybe even a little thicker. Have had no problems with coloring.

I’ve been on Ibrutinib just over two years and my hair is thicker and curlier than ever. The back of my head is much curlier than the rest of my hair.😳 Hair color is not a problem. Everyone is different, so good luck. Sally
