My wbc

I’m supposed to be on doxy for the rest of my life but I have not been able to take it in a long time Due to Mrsa. I’ve had 69 hip surgeries and about 2 weeks ago I went to my Dr and she said that my wbc was elevated. Not sure but around 11 and a half. Well not long after I lost my voice and I started vomiting. I stay nauseous all the time. I haven’t gotten my last report yet. But should I be worried that I have Mrsa again? I’m worried

Hi Gatorfan,

You've posted in a community supporting people with an incurable blood cancer, which it appears you thankfully don't have. Even someone with medical training would find it impossible to answer your question based on the limited information you have provided.

Your best option is to arrange an appointment with your doctor who knows your history and who will be able to arrange tests considered appropriate, so that an accurate diagnosis can be made and you be treated accordingly if needed I appreciate you have reason to be concerned but the best way to resolve your worry is to see a doctor who knows your full medical history, not consult an online support community.
