DB, thank you for this article. I read most of the article in the NYT paper but something distracted me and I did not read about Dr Rabinowitz' CLL diagnosis.

What an inspiration, his life story is.

CLL was mentioned in the news release pdf links on the Panthera web site. Only *cancer* was mentioned in the public obits.

In recent obits, I’ve noticed a trend to report *cancer* or *long term battle* but not the exact cause of death.
