Went for blood test today ,17th day on imbruvica, wbc doubled to 420, platelets up 89 from 66 hemoglobin same at 9.5. Was hoping to turn the corner, maybe next time fingers crossed

My ALC doubled too on Ibrutinib and my visible nodes all shrunk down in about a week. It's a good thing - just those CLL cells getting chased out of your lymph nodes where they're safe and happy. It takes a lot longer for them to die off. No rush - that's just how it works.

Your response from "Closh" is right. Your CLL cells are being flushed out of your system. It may take 4-6 months to entirely clear out. Hang in there...ps.. talk with your Oncologist
