lls.org has some funding and they may have ideas about other resources.

The LLS gave me $3500 to start with, and can not reapply until next year, March, Thanks for the info.

Sometimes they can't help directly, but know of other resources.

Yes having my Oncologist Admin checking further, thanks.

Have you spoken with someone at Pan Foundation as to how you can reapply? Ask your Specialty Pharmacy for help in finding funding. What about your oncologist’s office? Keep us updated. Best of luck. Sally

Give them a call. I’m sure someone will be able to help you or direct you in the right direction. Good luck. Sally

how to pay for these life saving drugs. Just tagging on, anyone knows how this works with medicare(part D) and discounts if one is paying out of pocket?

Years ago, recall seeing a statement from manufacturers, possibly Abbie , that out of pocket would never be more than 25 dollars per month, depending on insurance.

Your Oncologist along with your Specialty Pharmacy should be able to find assistance for you - usually takes about a month, sometimes less. That's how I got mine. I have no copay with the assistance given. It's a godsend. Nobody can afford to pay for this drug on their own.

Please call or go online to check out the drug manufacturer. Most have some sort of patient assistance that goes by income and is separate from PAN. It is worth the time and research. I just found out that AstraZeneca has patient assistance program for acalabrutinib if you are on Medicare. I am calling Monday (US) to see what the income requirement is. Best of luck to you.
