Race for life - for all of you

Hi guys!

I did the 5k race for life today in Scotland. For all of you. You are all in my heart.

My hematologist told me last Thursday I’m getting treatment soon. And that I may only have 20 years if I’m lucky. And that I could die during my soon to come FCR!

I choose not to let this drag me down. I’m living today and today was for every and each one of you.

Loads of love

Wish you very good luck with your treatment, you are a strong person, you will get through it, and you got all our support and prays. Look back to what medi developed in last decade, who can tell what the way forward, but for sure more safe, efficient solutions. Focus on the current challenge, get through it, we will then on another good hand.

Doing a 5k shows character ...

It's a self challenge ...

If I could do a 5k after being told that I'd be needing treatment soon, I'd ....

Naw ... there isn't a hope that I could do a 5k ... especially in Scotland ... there is no way that I could outrun the midgies ... they'd eat me alive.

You do know that this time next year, that you'll have to post ...

" I did the 5k race for life today in Scotland .... again "

next year...

I'll supply the wheelchair, but you'll have to push me round ... and not just the 'hilly' bits.

The last time I was in training, I put on 10lbs ...

I think I overdid it with the energy bars !

Good for you. In spite of cll for 8 years now, I still try to live life to its fullest. It is not the quantity of the time you have, but the quality that counts.

I hope you told the doctor that he might die on the way home today! What a crass, ignorant person.

Your attitude - brilliant! Wish I had some of that.
