? Benefits or not of taking Aspirin Extra

Hi I wanted to speak about taking Aspirin Extra, now I went through a period of getting headaches during the night as I have been gritting my teeth in the night quite considerably. If I took Aspirin the headache didn't happen. I noticed after taking Aspirin every nigh for 2 years that my lymphocytes went down from 20 to 11 and my WCC reduced quite significantly. I have now stopped taking Aspirin as I am aware of the side effects of ulcers etc although I have not experienced anything so far. My question is what do you think I should do is this a good thing that the levels have come down and I should continue with the Aspirin or continue stopping due to possible Aspirin side effects. Forgot to mention I have CLL on watch and wait

Ask your CLL Dr.

If you are talking about your absolute lymphocyte count a change of 20 to 11 is not much of a change. Doctors don't really look at the ALC seriously until it is over 30. Then they would look at doubling time as one factor in considering treatment. Talk to your dentist about getting a mouth guard for night use.

i recently had extreme pain in my teeth and headache from gritting my teeth. this was in response to my CLL dx end of 2017 and issues over renewal of my flat lease!!. not sure re Aspirin see other replies, but have started using a mouth gaurd which has proved really worth the money. no headache, teeth pain, much easier than i thought no interruption of sleep, i was advised by dentist we grit/ grind more during sleeping time, and protecting my crowns!! isnt a good look with the eye mask as well Hey Ho! but sleep important, with WnW fatigue!!
