Hi
I had my bone marrow biopsy last week and are still sore, has any one had same thing?
I had mine three weeks ago and it was very painful to start and then I walked funny fir a while. To this day I still have the scab for the procedure. Try not to think about it. I know it’s almost impossible but I think if we stress out we will get worse.
Mine was sore for awhile. If you think about it, they crunch through your bone right? That’s bound to take some time to heal.
Mine was sore for a couple of weeks. I was not medicated or sedated in any way and it was my first one and I was scared to death and stayed “tensed up” for the whole procedure. My chiropractor told me it was the tensing up for the full 20 minutes that caused most of the soreness. It did go away.
Next time I am taking a Xanax before I have it done.
Thank you for your reply
It is years since I had bone marrow biopsies, I had 8 of them during those years and all were painless, I had them with local anesthesia and one with sedation, the first one, I thought at the time that it all depended on the experience of the doctor doing it, my 8 biopsies were done by 4 different doctors.
Yes there is doll pain for at least a week or two and maybe more
Be well,
Hoffy
