5 + yrs post diagnosis of CLl and have lump on right side of neck. They thought it was CLL but during biopsy yesterday they seem to think it is “another” cancer. It is at the lab now. Anyone have anything similar?

Neck node biopsy
I hope this is not the case... you need to wait for pathology, and a firm diagnosis.
CLL can transform to diffuse large B cell Lymphoma or Hodgkin's or PLL, but it is fairly rare.
It happened to me ... and chemo and radiotherapy, cured it 5 years ago...
Please let us know the outcome of your biopsy...

Thanks Chris. Not sure how long a wait but stressful waiting!
Boy..I know... it took about 5 days as I recall... if you don't hear anything in 7 days contact your doctor...

Hi Huzzy - Did they remove the entire node for the biopsy? That's the best way to get an accurate diagnosis. Because of my nodes, mine is SLL instead of CLL. Hopefully that's all yours is too. Keep us posted.
Huzzy - Any updates on the results of your biopsy? Hope you're doing well.
Thanks. Squamous cell carcinoma. “Hiding” somewhere in neck/throat area. MRI and endoscopy with biopsies in the next two weeks. They were hoping it was the CLL. Not sure which is worse😵
