vecabrutinib (previously known as SNS-062) - CLL Support
vecabrutinib (previously known as SNS-062)
WOW !
This makes me glad that I never went to med school. It also makes me feel extremely blessed that some other people did!
None of us have any idea whether this drug, or any of the many others that are in development will work, or not. BUT, we should all feel very blessed that they exist, and time has shown that SOME will almost certainly work.
Take time this season of the year to give thanks that they are there. I've said it before, but when I was diagnosed with CLL in early 2003, there wasn't much around to help us except for some pretty harsh chemo drugs. Today, they're developing new PILLS that we never even dreamed of - and who knows, Doctor McCoy may next step out of Star Trek to show us how his magic zapper works even better!
In short, realize how far CLL treatment has come in just a few years, and think positively about the future - especially you "newbies", who may be scared to death. AND, give thanks to whoever or whatever you believe is responsible for this tremendous chain of development. MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all !!!

I’ve been trying to follow this drug but not much fan fair about it.
This works when Ibrutinib doesn’t!
This is one to watch for. Thank you!
