Ibrutinib storage without A/C

Hello!

Since live in Alabama without air conditioning, the inside temperature often exceeds the 77 degree F. maximum safe temperature range for Ibrutinib storage. We are using the pharmacy's styrofoam shipping container for safe storage. We keep one set of the cool packs in the refrigerator. Twice a day we rotate them with the warmed up cool packs in the container. We keep a thermometer in the container to monitor the temperature.

We researched medical refrigerators but the prices started around $1,000.

Suggestions appreciated.

I live where it usually cools down to below 70 at night so I just open my styrofoam container right before I go to bed. If temperature was higher I would use a frozen pack on top of papers and change it out every morning.

The storage temperature for Ibrutinib doesn't appear to be as critical as initially thought. See my reply to the earlier post: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...
