I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who posted a response on my "down" day. The information received was really helpful and all the good wishes such a boost.
I haven't been in touch earlier as things change so quickly with this condition. After posting I started to feel more unwell, dizzy and breathless and guessed my Hb levels were dropping. They were and I was admitted to hospital last Thursday evening with a temperature and low Hb. Anyway treatment and improvement but I was kept in hospital as things were taking a time to settle and the news was that the Venetaclax may arrive Wednesday, 26th July and treatment could commence.
Sadly no sign of the drug yesterday so another unit of blood and return home to my own bed - bliss. There is a possibility they may arrive tomorrow, failing that back to hospital for a blood check on Monday and any update available on the delivery of the Venetaclax.
So taking things easy and playing the waiting game. I shall keep you posted on progress as things happen. Once again, many thanks to one and all.
