Editing Dr. Sharman's special list of specialists.

Didn't know how to contact Dr. Sharman directly, but maybe someone in the community does. When on his CLL/NHL Doctors webpage - cll-nhl.com/p/cllnhl-doctor... - I found Dr. Brad Kahl as practicing in Madison WI (with my sister living there I thought it might be a viable option in adding a CLL Expert to my CLL team. However, in researching Dr. Kahl I found he is now practicing at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO. Perhaps this might be helpful to those living near St. Louie.

BTW, during my e-travels on the Sharman site I found his most recent posts interesting & valuable. " Supplement Fraud" lists the 14 companies cracked down on by the FDA as well as providing a link to a Frontline documentary on the supplement industry (US?) and the other, "Selecting Therapy in CLL" is an update of his 2013 "Selecting a Therapy in CLL", enumerating the current thinking of choosing frontline therapy, providing a link to a tool for individualized analysis of which treatment might be best (along with videos on choosing treatment for frontline and relapsed).

NOTE: I just tried using his link for the interactive tool & got a message that it was unavailable having been archived. But then I found if you click on the link directly above or go to -

clinicaloptions.com/Oncolog... -

it's magically transported from archived unavailability to total access. You do have to register first though.

There are a few people on Dr. Sharman's list who have moved, and I'm guessing there are several doctors he would add if he had the time to update it. CLLsociety.org has an up to date list of patient recommended doctors which includes most of the doctors on Dr. Sharman's list, as does ACOR. If you go to the Society web page and click on the doctors link you will find their list and links to the other two. A good way to double check locations.
