Hospital unable to do viral studies. Ibrutinib?

I saw my specialist who wanted to make sure there was no underlying viral cause to all of my symptoms before doing any more invasive testing. I waited nervously for two weeks and when I went back to see him he said the lab had sent a note saying that they could not do the viral studies because my blood had something in it that was inhibiting enzymes needed to do the lab work.

The doctor (head of Georgetown Cancer Clinic) had not seem this before. He thinks it must be the imbruvica, so he took me off it for two weeks and then will try again. Has anyone ever had this issue?

Feeling frustrated, but hopeful we will get some answers next go around with the blood work.
