Friends,

This week in the Living Well with CLL section of the CLL Society website, [cllsociety.org] we have posted a talk given by Dr. Scott Irwin during the CLL Research Consortium in April 2015. He gave a talk about dealing with the psychosocial aspects of cancer and how to preserve our dignity when faced with a diagnosis of cancer. You can see that brief lecture here.[ cllsociety.org/2016/01/deal... ]

If you enjoy the topics posted in Living Well with CLL, we also have some very thoughtful articles written by patients within our quarterly newsletters, The CLL Tribune. [ cllsociety.org/newsletter] Mark Silverstein, a CLL patient shared some insightful perspectives in an article on The Importance of Meaning [ cllsociety.org/newsletter/q... ] found in our first issue, and an article on Compassion [ cllsociety.org/newsletter/q... ]in our second issue. They are really worth reading!

Janet Morrison, another CLL patient, shared her thoughts about How CLL Changed My Life [ cllsociety.org/newsletter/q... ] in our second issue that was published just prior to the holidays. How has CLL changed your life? With all that happens to our bodies following a diagnosis of CLL, it’s great to give some thought to the impact on our lives socially, psychologically and spiritually.

As we are preparing for the 2016 issues of The CLL Tribune, consider sharing your story, or advice, or perspectives on how CLL has impacted your life and consider authoring an article. Send us a message [cllsociety.org/contact-us/] and we can connect to discuss the details.
